Waugh Arboretum Events at UMass Amherst

Monday April 29 is Founder’s Day! At 9am Jack Ahern, Professor Emeritus of Landscape Architecture, and Todd Cournoyer, Head of Landscape, will be leading a tree walking tour of our campus arboretum. Meet outside the main entrance to DuBois Library promptly at 9am to attend. There will also be a booth set up giving away tree seedlings as well as cuttings of elderberry, redosier dogwood, several species of willow, and Waugh Arboretum swag! The tree walk will end at the site of the inaugural Founder’s Day tree planting. Events will take place at and around Goodell Lawn (next to DuBois Library & South College). Nearby parking is available at the UMass Parking Garage. Learn more about the arboretum here: https://www.umass.edu/arboretum/
